I went off birth control October 2008 (3 months prior to my wedding) and we essentially have been trying ever since then.
I started “charting/temping” 2 months after our wedding (Feb 09) and did that with timed intercourse up until my first IUI in Febuary 2010.
We are unexplained/a little male factor diagnoses.
We did 3 months of clomid and IUI’s.
We went straight from our last failed IUI to our first attempt at IVF which as you know also failed.
I would HIGHLY recommend taking a small break in between IUI’s and IVF. I wish I would have.
They say that 3 IUI’s is the magic number but I know people who have done more and even got pregnant on IUI 4 or 5. I just knew I couldn’t keep doing them anymore, I was pretty much done once IUI 2 failed.
Hopefully IVF 2 will mark the end of this journey!
