Moving right along…
I had my first monitoring appointment on Saturday morning. My E2 was 452. Just for comparison sake, let me tell you what it was last cycle on that day…….1,800.
Went in again today and my E2 was 1,400 which is right where it should be and I have about 16 follicles. Last cycle at this stage my E2 was 3,000 and I had close to 35 follicles.
To say this cycle is going MUCH better is an understatement.
I am supposed to decrease my Menopur by 1 vial tonight and I am back in tomorrow morning for another ultrasound and blood draw.
Also, remember how I was complaining how large and painful the needle was that I was using for my FSH???? Yeah. I was using the wrong needle. This shit only happens to me. So now I have the proper needle (just in time to finish things up) and it barely hurts at all. Go figure.
The egg retrieval should be Friday or Saturday. Now if they can manage to keep me asleep this time things will really be going well!
